About the role  

Reporting to the General Manager of Bedding, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring bedroom furniture for franchised complexes nationwide, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and value.

Responsibilities include; 

  • Building and maintaining efficient supplier relationships.
  • Sourcing products for resale – An opportunity to set the tone for the style and range in one of Australia’s largest retailers!
  • Planning and executing advertising strategies using across multiple media channels.
  • Communicating planned promotions and strategies with relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing relevant committees and support yearly national category conferences.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager – Bedding to determine core ranges for the business.
  • Providing weekly updates to the business and ad-hoc reporting when required.
  • Building and maintain strong, productive working relationships with Bedding Proprietors in all stores across the country.
  • Collaborating with Proprietor’s to identify and implement visual merchandising requirements in store.

About you  

You will have previous experience procuring products for resale within retail. You have a keen interest in working with colour, current and emerging styling trends.

You will also have: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Retail experience in a medium to large organisation with multiple locations, along with a strong understanding of consumer trends and buying behaviours.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to prioritise and control your own workload in our fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • A high level of professionalism and dedication to the business.
