About the role  

The Mobiles & Computer Technology Team of Harvey Norman is primarily responsible for monitoring marketing and product trends in the Mobile and Computer Technology market. As a member of this team, you will contribute to enabling strong retail practices to enhance and promote the Harvey Norman®, Domayne® and Joyce Mayne® Brands. 

You will collaborate with the Category Business Development Manager to promote a category and provide recommendations to Franchisees to support their sales and gross profit targets, marketing needs, and foster strong supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities include; 

  • Assist the Category Business Development Manager in analysing business performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing solutions.
  • Execute upon the solutions of agreed strategies, including coordinating product enhancements, marketing campaigns, and training programs.
  • Perform reporting, analytics, and administrative tasks (primarily using Microsoft Excel) to support various Category initiatives.
  • Promote strong relationships with Proprietors of Harvey Norman, Domayne, and Joyce Mayne Franchisees to enhance the Category performance and provide support where required.
  • Review, consolidate and format internal communications, ensuring stakeholders meet deadlines.

You will also have: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of relevant Consumer Law and Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of all stages of a product lifecycle.
